China Dragon's Dream

In history, China is a great country with very long glory. After China Communist Party seized the power, especially, after Korean War, red China (PRC) is regarded as an evil in eyes of the western, like USSR. To most of Chinese, the Culture Revolution (1966-1976) was a nightmare untill Deng Xiaoping reformed comprehensively and opened the country since 1979.

Now, China have a huge economy in the world. After the return of Hong Kong and Macao, CCP leaders or decision makers put their eyes on Taiwan. The possibility of war between the strait still exists.

With regard to the county's shortcomings, there are many bad records on his human right, birth control, labour education in camps, control of news freedom and scrutiny on books. Even them, china is staggering to become a true gtreat county.

In my eyes, China's road to development is also such as ruled by law, constitutionalism, market syterm and democratic, like the western. And now Confucious cannot give the country any direction as in the passed centuries. Since 1994, NPL and the State Council have promulgated many laws and rules on China's economy. They are imitating and copying the western, when facing questions from the economy development. If no war with Taiwan, in a peaceful and gradualy progess, China will complete its modernization ambition in fifty years.
